Today we are smoking some pork steaks on the charcoal grill! This is a fantastic recipe! To start off we season each steak with a home made BBQ rub. Then we smoke these beautiful pork steaks for an hour. Next we give them a nice hot sear to lock in the juices, and finish them by slathering them in some barbecue sauce until they are nice and sticky!

Each step in this cook adds some amazing flavor to these pork steaks. The savory dry rub, the smokey flavor and the sweet and tangy taste of the barbecue sauce make for a winning combination!

BBQ Rub Recipe:

1/4 cup dark brown sugar
3 tablespoons paprika
1 tablespoon dry mustard
1 tablespoon sea salt
1 1/2 teaspoons granulated garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander

Combine ingredients in a bowl; Mix well.
