This week I put the Traeger to the test and smoke a whole brisket with a spicy coffee rub. I also try to put a little smoke smoke to the meat with a tray of pellets. Not so successful.
Coffee Rub
4 tablespoon ground coffee
4 tablespoon kosher salt
4 tablespoon dark brown sugar
6 teaspoons smoked paprika
6 teaspoons ancho chile powder
2 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoon onion powder
2 teaspoon ground cumin
2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
