No it is not a Weber Summit Charcoal Grill Review. But….This is really exciting folks! This is my homemade fake Weber Summit which is constructed from 2 Weber Kettles. It cost me $200 Canadian because I already had an old Weber Kettle. I got some high temperature Automotive paint that was an exact copy of the Limited Edition Red Kettle that I spray painted the top edge of the black kettle that I put inside the Red One. That was $15 can of paint.
Everyone should do this that is serious about roasting and cooking big cuts of meat. I have seen an increase in fuel efficiency by 33% and temperatures in excess of 550 F compared with 425 or so before on the same amount of fuel. My roasts are cooking faster and hotter. I have not tested low and slow as I said in the video.
Very Easy to Make!! However I recommend a proper cutting tool for cutting through steel as using tin snips was a doggone lot of work on the hands!
