I really miss using the Weber Rotisserie accessory since my Weber Kettle is back in STL and I’m in KC. So I wanted to see if it would still cook without being able to close the lid on my Weber Summit Charcoal Grill. Cooked a 3 lb chicken using an “open pit” style and it was done in just over two hours. Experiment was successful, however I did go through a lot of charcoal to maintain a high heat.
I used a great marinade that I saw on Kelvin’s Kitchen: https://youtu.be/wG1MbkvAOb4
