We got a Vadiv smart bluetooth BBQ thermometer to try out here on the off grid homestead.
This is a wireless bluetooth BBQ thermometer with two temperature sensor probes. You can read out the temperature on the built in digital display or you can read it out on your cell phone using a free app that you can download.
The app includes preset meat programs with built in alarms to tell you when your meat is finished cooking.
We tried it out on a whole chicken and it worked quite well. The grill was out in front of the trailer far away and we had the display working on my cell phone in the kitchen window of the chalet.
