Once you’ve finished cooking on your Traeger grill it’s important that it goes through the ‘shut down’ cycle. It’s a really quick procedure and I know that you’re dying to break into that brisket but all you do is close the lid and turn the dial to ‘shut down’. The fan will run for about 10 minutes then shut down, so don’t forget to do this otherwise you will be burning all the fuel in the hopper then once that has run out you could damage your grill by running on empty.
