This video shows a Weber Spirit 1300 barbecue grill that is approximately 17 years old. It is one of the old Skyline series. Ths customer asked us to take this BBQ away when we delivered her new Weber Genesis model. However, these old Weber Spirit models were made in America with good quality materials so we decided to re-build the Weber to New condition.
This video shows as we remove the old original igniter module and electrode and then as we re-install the new electrode, collector box and piezo module. As the Weber ignitor is being replaced in the grill we also explain some of the points to look for when maintaining the barbecue and what parts to pay attention to when repairing this model by replacing the ignition assembly.
