The longer you BBQ in your backyard, the higher the chances are that one of your units will fail on you. Perhaps its from a lot of smokes, or in my case, from traveling back and forth to and from different BBQ events. Whatever the cause, you now have a box that isn’t good for much.
I’ve had plans to build a cold smoker for quite some time now, but when one of my trusty Masterbuilt XL units got a little to rickety in the legs, I decided to convert it to a cold smoker. Hopefully this video will encourage you to roll your old BBQ unit into something that can produce some amazing cold smoked grub.
