I love eating meat that has been smoked slowly all day. It is such a treat. But, I don’t have the money or space for a smoker. I do have a nice grill and cook in it all the time. That’s why I was so happy to find this pellet smoker for a grill. I ordered it right away and at the same time I ordered wood pellets so I would be ready to grill the first sunny day.

It came in the mail and I opened right away. I was happy to feel the quality of this unit. It is solid and made from great materials. It comes with a brush to clean inside the tube and two ‘S’ hooks to hold this under your grill rack. It also comes with a meat thermometer that I didn’t know was included. Should learn to read I guess. Its digital and I will get a lot of use out of it as well. Now, this is not a smoker and will not do what a smoker does. What it will do is slowly burn the wood pellets off and bring the smell into your meat to allow a great taste.

You can buy pellets made from different types of wood like hickory, apple and oak as well as others. I have a liking for cherry. We had an old cherry tree in our yard when I was young. Must have been 20 years old. When my Dad cut it down he cut the trunk into disks and always threw one in the grill when cooking. Made whatever meat he was cooking taste so great.

I recommend this as the quality and ease of use are really nice for the price and you get the cool digital meat thermometer with it as well. Good deal.
