It is especially handy when you are smoking low and slow foods such as jerky. Smoking below 200 degrees doesn’t always give all the smoke you want, until you add the cold smoker unit to the side of the Masterbuilt Electric Smoker. Just slide it into the wood chip filler hole on the side, plug it in, and add chips. Simple, and effective. You can add smoke at the lowest temperatures the Masterbuilt can be set, which is 100 degrees.
