It’s very important to shutdown your Grilla properly. The shutdown process burns the remaining pellets in the fire pot to ensure proper startup and operation.
When running above 350 degrees, open the lid and cycle your temp down to 225 degrees for 7-10 minutes, before pressing the power button.
Make sure it goes through the entire 5 minute shutdown after pressing the power button. Once completed, it’s okay to unplug the grill.
