1. Calculate how many briquettes you’ll need by spreding them out in a single layer across the bottom of grill.
2. Push briquettes to side and lay down some paper towle squares.
3. Place briquettes over paper towels and stack in a pyramid shape adding in little dry sticks.
4. Light paper towle on bottom and let the fire start char the briquettes.
5. Use lighter fluid if needed to make the remaining sticks burn.
6. Leave top off of grill for ventilation, and come back in 10-20 minutes after the briquettes have ashed over
