Marinading and Grilling a BIG Rattle Snake.
We had a big rattlesnake by the barn. It had to go. So it was killed and we processed the snake for food. This is marinading and cooking part of the job. The snake tasted like a mild chicken flavor, maybe with a hint of pork. Not like beef at all. The meat didn’t have a gamey taste at all, but was a tough meat. No getting around that, it was tough.
