How to build your own Kamado Grill / Flowerpot Smoker
What do you need:
2 Flower Pots
Fireproof Gasket
Spring Pan Form
Frying thermometer
Metal handle
Aluminium Spacers
Thread screws
Grid
Drill 3 small air holes into the first flowerpot and enlarge these holes step per step. Then drill some air holes into the spring form, put it into the flowerpot and use it as fire grate. Install the gasket at the top of the pot, add the grid and ready is the first part of the smoker.
Then drill two holes into the bottom of the second flowerpot and install the handle with the thread screws and aluminium spacer. Furthermore, drill a small hole at the middle of the pot and put in the frying thermometer. Also place the gasket at the top of the pot and place it onto the first pot. Here you are – your DIY Flowerpot.
Tipp: For indirect grilling, add a foil pan as heat deflector.
