This summer I decided to build a pizza oven in my garden,I started by making a concrete base,I didn’t have a plan or any idea on how I wanted it to look,in fact it took on a life of its own as I progressed,all I knew was that I wanted a pizza oven and it had to be cheap,I looked at a few ideas on YouTube but they seemed far too big,costly and time consuming or they were too cheap looking and not permanent structures.im not a bricklayer but I have some diy knowledge so I gave it a go and it ended up costing me about £60 and took me a weekend plus a few evenings after work of my time.
I bought the concrete blocks,sand and cement from the local diy store,I used fire bricks which were from old storage heaters from eBay,they cost £12 and I had some concrete block paving left over from another project.
The tools I used were a disc cutter,trowel,hammer and saw
