GRILLING FOR BEGINNERS

Are you a first time griller? Need some help? Here are some helpful tips to get your grill on this summer!

Get the coals nice and hot. There should be a white layer forming on the outside of each briquettes.
Create a two-zone fire configuration for optimal cooking layout. Position coals where half of the grill is covered in hot coals (direct heat) while the other half is empty (indirect heat).
Use direct heat to cook burgers, steak, sliced veggies and tender pieces of chicken.
Use indirect heat for cooking things that have a longer cook time such as ribs, roasts, bone-in chicken, and corn.
