With just two foil roasting pans, some metal skewers, aluminum foil, and a small cooling rack, I was able to build a Portable DIY Smoker and test it. Did it work? Have a look and check out the Tri Tip I cooked on my little creation 🙂
This sort of project would allow you to smoke cuts of meat, including chicken, beef, and sausage, if you are at the beach or on a camping trip, without the bother of bringing along a larger grill or smoker.
