I bought a Char-Broil Smoker off Amazon several months ago. Since that time I have cured the powdercoating on 100’s of tumblers with much success, but I always wanted to add some insulation to the underside were there is only a single layer of metal. Since doing the upgrade a few weeks ago I have probably run another 20 through the oven. It heats faster and gets hotter. I’ve had to back off the heat many times. It easily passes 400 degrees which is high enough for all the powders I use. This is my second oven. I got it to help with volume not wanting to run another 220 line and buy or find another full sized oven. I am definitely not interested in buying a walkin powder coating oven for several thousand. This is still a hobby for me.
